Privacy policy

Your study stays on your device, with optional recovery copies in your own Apple or Google account.

Publisher: mangy · Effective date: October 23, 2026

No app account is needed for study. The app saves your progress locally. The publisher does not receive your private iCloud or Google study copies.

This policy covers the current AFOQT Prep build with its purchase service disabled, and this policy website.

Study information

The app stores the information you enter and the work you complete: an optional saved name, career goal and test date; training and appearance preferences; original questions and answers; lessons, sessions, reviews, activity and report notes. A random local profile identifier keeps these records together.

Individual SJT and SDI ratings are used during familiarization rather than retained as a personal response profile. Saved history retains completion and omission information.

The app does not automatically send your study records to publisher servers, advertising networks, usage-analytics services or AI services. Study content and its learning media are bundled with the installed app. External reference links open your browser and are handled under the destination’s own practices.

Personal backups and reinstallation

On an installed iPhone, the app can keep a study copy in your own iCloud account when iCloud Drive access is available. On Android, your device’s enabled backup service can back up the app’s study-copy folder to your Google account. Apple or Google manages this storage under your account and its terms. The publisher does not receive or read these private copies.

A copy can include the saved study information described above, including any saved name, preferences, original answers and report notes. Backup JSON is not separately encrypted by the app; platform protections apply.

After deletion and reinstallation, an empty installation can recover a valid saved copy. Recovery depends on an available completed copy, the same platform account, storage, network access and system timing. A current copy or successful restoration is not guaranteed. Android backups run on the system’s schedule.

Existing study is not combined with another history or replaced automatically. This is recovery storage, rather than continuous study synchronization. Browser previews and Expo Go use separate storage and do not participate in these automatic copies.

Reports and files you choose to share

Saving a question report does not send it to support. It is saved with your study data and may be included in your personal backups. You choose whether to share a report separately. Sharing opens your device’s chooser, or downloads a file in a browser preview. The chosen destination handles the file under its own practices. Notes you type into a report are included in that report.

A reference export is for reading and cannot restore progress. A complete study backup can restore saved work after you review it and confirm replacement. These files are readable by anyone who can open them, so choose a destination you trust.

A reviewed restoration replaces current history and preferences instead of combining them. The app keeps one local pre-restoration recovery copy when readable study is replaced. It can separately retain one latest copy of unreadable saved study for recovery. These copies remain until replaced or cleared through the app’s controls. Files you save elsewhere remain under your control.

Your controls and deletion

Reset and Delete cancel pending automatic saves and attempt to remove accessible study copies. On shared iCloud, this can include profile copies created on another phone. Unavailable or already uploaded copies may remain until the platform processes deletion.

These actions also suppress automatic recovery in the current installation. Uninstalling or removing app data removes that local instruction, so a remaining remote copy can be discovered after another reinstall. Local deletion does not guarantee immediate remote erasure. Files already exported or shared are not recalled.

Removing the app or losing the device can lose study when no usable backup exists. Study deletion and recovery do not cancel subscriptions, issue refunds or erase store purchase records.

Purchases

Purchasing is disabled in the build covered by this policy. The app does not start or contact its purchase service. Existing store records are separate from study data. If a future version enables purchasing, its purchase-data handling will be described in an updated policy.

Privacy contact

For privacy requests, app support or bug reports, use our private contact form. It asks for your message and, optionally, an email address where you would like a reply. You can submit without a Google account.

Google Forms stores submissions. Gmail handles new-submission notifications and any reply correspondence. We use what you send to respond to your request and address app issues. Submissions and related correspondence remain in our form account or mailbox until deleted. You may request deletion through the same form; we may retain information needed to address unresolved requests or legal obligations. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

Please include only the details needed to explain your request. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unrelated study records. We cannot retrieve private study copies from your iCloud or Google account; the app’s export, backup and deletion controls let you manage that information directly.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page and its effective date when the covered data practices change.
